December 1966
Meikyo Trading Co., Ltd. was founded in Nishi Shinbashi Minato-ku Tokyo. (Capital stock 10,000,000 yen)
The company established Sapporo branch in Sapporo city.
It obtained sales representation of muriate of potash of United States Borax & Chemical Corp. and Kerr Chemical Corp.
February 1968
The company obtained sales representation of Calcium Nitrate fertilizer of Yara International ASA (Former Norsk Hydro ASA) in Norway.
It began imports of concentrated superphosphate, phosphate minerals and other materials from U.S and Europe.
February 1968
The company obtained sales representation of an export association of Saskatchewan potash producers (Canpotex Ltd) in Canada.
In addition, it began imports of cereals, groceries and agricultural products by taking advantage of function as an import management company.
October 1977
The company began importing concentrated juice and foods from U.S, Europe, and Australia.
April 1987
The company obtained sales representation of Calcium Cyanamide fertilizer of Evonik Degussa Gmbh (German) and organic compound fertilizers of Pungnong Co., Ltd. (Korea).
It began imports of a wide variety of chemical fertilizers from Asia and Europe.
April 1989
The company established Fukuoka sub-branch in Fukuoka city.
April 1995
The company obtained sales representation of alfalfa concentrated green manures of Werner Agra Ltd (Canada).
July 2003
The company became a subsidiary wholly owned by Nittofc Co., Ltd.
December 2007
The company relocated the head office to Kanda Nishikicho Chiyoda-ku Tokyo.
